AWAZE TIBS
Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients:
4 tbsp. Olive Oil or Unsalted Butter
1 Medium Red Onion Sliced
1 Red, Green, Yellow, or Jalapeno Sliced Pepper
2 Medium Cloves Garlic
4 tbsp. Saba’s Awaze Original
2 Sprigs of Rosemary
Dash of salt and fresh ground pepper (for taste)
1 pound loose-textured beef to absorb the flavorings, such as (skirt, flank or hanger) slice meat into strips
Steps:
In a cast iron pan ( or pan) on medium heat, add onions fresh garlic cloves olive oil or butter reduce heat, stirring occasionally, until onions are golden about 10 minutes ( low sizzle during cooking process) Add beef in single layer and leave space open in skillet to brown – flip meat and cook both sides. Add Saba’s Awaze Original Sauce. Continue to cook meat stirring and flipping occasionally until desired level of doneness. Add pepper slices cook for 3 to 5 minutes –add rosemary for flavor at the same time when adding the peppers- before removing from heat. - Serve with bread - Injera, rice, potatoes, or your preference of veggies.
