Kofte Meatballs

Kufta, Kofta, Kifta …. this international meatball dish has so many variations in both the spelling and the recipes!! It's soooo good & super easy to make.⁠
Try your hand at our version - Habesha Style 🤩😋⁠

With only 30 minutes total of prep & cooking, it's quick to make and can be an appetizer or a main entree, however you'd like to serve it! ⁠

You'll need:⁠
-3 table spoons Taste of Mekele Berbere⁠
-2 lbs. pounds ground beef 90%lean ground sirloin⁠
-2.tablespoons fresh parsley chopped⁠
-4. cloves garlic minced⁠
-1. teaspoons kosher salt⁠
-Jalapeno chopped, grilled or raw – optional⁠
-Cooking spray⁠

1. Add all the ingredients except the beef into a bowl and stir well.⁠
2. Add in the beef and stir until just combined.⁠
3. Form into ¼ cup meatballs (you can use ice cream scoop) onto your cast iron skillet⁠
4. Heat cast iron over medium-high heat. Coat with cooking spray and cook until done, turning⁠
occasionally.⁠
5. Cook for 15- 17 minutes – until thoroughly cooked⁠
6. Enjoy immediately ❤️💚💛
